Students on academic or disciplinary probation, are ineligible for extra-curricular activities, including school sports.

TEAM ROSTERS

Students are not cut from athletic team rosters. All students who maintain activity eligibility will be included as a participatory member of athletic team rosters for regular season competition. Special invitational competitions may be played with revised, selected team rosters.

Underclass students may be selected to join upper-class teams when there is an opening on that team and a new athlete is needed to field a full team. General criteria for such selections will be determined by the athletic director after consultation with the principal.

TEAM PRACTICES

Written practice and competition schedules are given to each student-athlete. Special, unscheduled team practices may be called with advance notice.

Missed practices may result in a student-athlete’s inability to participate in
competitive play. Repeated absences from practices may result in the student-athlete’s removal from the team roster.

COMPETITIVE PLAY

Every effort will be made to insure that the entire team roster participates in each team competition, except for those student-athletes on academic or disciplinary probation.

Since "student"-athletes honor their academic responsibilities, they are required to attend 60% of the school day to be eligible for competitive play on that day.

ATHLETIC FEE
