Hall of Distinction Criteria
Mission Statement
The goal of the SHPS Alumni Association is to recognize individuals affiliated with Sacred Heart Parish School that have taken their Catholic faith to heart and lived out the message of Jesus Christ. Those selected for induction into the SHPS Hall of Distinction are being recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in the areas of career achievement, community service, academics, and/or fine arts.
Eligible for Nomination
1. Alumni – Must have attended Sacred Heart Parish School. Individual must have graduated at least ten (10) years prior to the year of nomination.
2. Faculty or staff members – Must be a former (not current) faculty or staff member and must be an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the continuing enhancement of Sacred Heart Parish School and its students.
3. An individual who has contributed through their works to the environment of Sacred Heart Parish School.
Any interested alumni, friend, faculty/staff member, current parent, alumni parent, or board member of Sacred Heart Parish School or any predecessor school may make nominations. Once an individual is nominated for the Hall of Distinction, he/she shall remain eligible for a term of three (3) years. Once a nomination has expired, an individual must be nominated again to be eligible.

Nomination Deadline: Tuesday, August 31, 2010
Induction Ceremony: Saturday, November 13, 2010
