How do I enroll in your school?

Sacred Heart Parish School adheres to a non-discrimination policy, and the school will not reject the application of any student based on sex, race, creed, color, religion, nationality, or ethnic origin.

Parents of applicants are asked to fill out an application form and pay a non-refundable $35 application fee. For further questions, please contact the Registrar, Ms. Anita Warren at warren@sacredheartschool.org or call (831) 637-4157.

How do I enroll in your preschool and Transitional Kindergarten classes?

Preschool applicants must be three years old and potty-trained. It is the school’s position that children need to have reached a maturity level that reflects the social skills and attentiveness which this program requires. An application is required.

Transitional-Kindergarten applicants and parents will be asked to visit the T-K class and meet with the teacher. Prospective T-Kindergarten students are assessed, and must be 4 by September 1st. The decision to admit a student to the T-Kindergarten program rests with the T-Kindergarten teacher and the Principal.

Do I need to enroll my children in catechism classes?

No, religion and catechism teaching are built in daily and throughout our curriculum. At Sacred Heart Parish School, students receive catechism throughout the day, primarily through the religious curriculum. Students participate in Mass and faith-based opportunities. Students in second grade prepare in class for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion together.
